Traditional Irish Soda Bread

Ingredients
Flour (I used white and whole wheat), buttermilk, baking soda and salt.
Make dough

Combine the dry ingredients, then add the buttermilk and stir with clean fingers until combined.
Shape bread

Tip dough out on lined and floured baking sheet. Shape into a disk, dust with flour then make deep slices crosswise.
Bake bread

Bake bread until golden brown and sounding hollow when tapped on the bottom. Cool on a cooling rack before slicing.
